  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes from the Regular Council meeting held July 12, 2021 be approved as presented and circulated.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT as per section 239(2)(f) of the Municipal Act, Council enters closed session to discuss advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council rises from closed session to resume regular business.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council receives the information from Thomson, Rogers as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives report DO 2021-06 Streetlight Contractor Renewal dated July 26, 2021 for information purposes;

    AND FURTHER THAT Council authorizes staff to extend the streetlight maintenance contract with 704289 Ontario Ltd/R.A. Electrical for an additional 3 year term being August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2024.

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given for the reading and enacting of By-law #46-2021 being A By-law to Amend Traffic By-law Number 8-1983, As Amended, to establish reduced speed limits within the Town of Shelburne.

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given for the reading and enacting of By-law #47-2021 being a by-law to enter into an agreement with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities to receive grant funding for the Municipal Asset Management Program.

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given for the reading and enacting of By-law #48-2021 being a by-law to enter into an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen to recieve COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream grant funding.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council receives the items listed under Communications for information.

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given for the reading and enacting of By-law #49-2021 being a By-law to confirm certain proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Shelburne for its regular council meeting held July 26, 2021.
