  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes from the Committee of Adjustment and Regular Council meeting held August 23, 2021 be approved as presented and circulated.

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives report CAO 2021-09 regarding Off Leash Dog Park – Location Review;

    AND THAT a temporary location for an Off Leash Dog Park not be implemented;

    AND THAT to allow public engagement and consultation for a permanent Off Leash Dog Park to be established at the preferred location of Fiddle Park that it be referred to the parks and recreation master plan.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council receives the proclamation request for information.

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council considers naming the Greenwood Park Soccer Field - Thunder Field - after Kadeisha Buchanan, Shelburne resident and Olympic Gold Medalist with the Women’s Canadian Olympic Team.

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council direct staffs to look into the feasibility of a mandatory vaccination policy for all current municipal staff (inclusive of elected officials) and new hires and report back to Council in January 2022

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given for the reading and enacting of By-law #55-2021 being a by-law to enter into an agreement with Intelivote Systems Inc. for the purpose of providing voting services for the 2022 Municipal election.

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given for the reading and enacting of By-law #56-2021 being a by-law to enter into an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen to receive the Municipal Modernization Program Intake 2 grant funding. 

  • Recommendation:

    BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given for the reading and enacting of By-law #57-2021  being a By-law to confirm certain proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Shelburne for its regular council meeting held September 13, 2021.
